Teen Trust was created in Black Hawk County to provide teens with
a way to become active trustees of their community. Teen Trust is
the only foundation in Iowa administered by youth for the purpose
of engaging in philanthropy.
This year-long program of the Community Foundation of Waterloo /
Cedar Falls and Northeast Iowa empowers and challenges high school
students to address, identify and seek solutions to community needs.
The program culminates with the students awarding $10,000 from the
Youth Interest Fund of the Community Foundation to non-profit agencies
in Black Hawk County.

To provide youth opportunites to develop philanthropic behaviors,
leadership skills, stewardship commitment and volunteer experiences.
